      Our overall mission is for the energy industry to associate "EnerGenuity" with the management and movement of energy. There is a significant growth opportunity resulting from an unfilled need in the deregulating energy market. EnerGenuity plans to sell products and services to meet these needs and revolutionize the industry. The goal for the product line is to become the industry standard.

  • Company History/Operations

      EnerGenuity LLC (EnerGenuity) was legally organized in September of 2004. EnerGenuity was formed as a Limited Liability Company and is the result of a joint venture between Nominating, Operations and Management Services LLC (NOMSCo), a five year old energy consulting company, and Software Engineering Professionals (SEP), a 60 employee seventeen year old IT company. NOMSCo's focus over the last four plus years has been on creating and maintaining a software solution specifically designed for the deregulated energy industry. This product remains in use by an industry-leading energy company and serves as the basis for EnerGenuity's product suite. SEP develops complex, regulated and mission critical information systems for Fortune-500 companies in a number of markets that include: medical, healthcare, aerospace, automotive, and national defense.
      At the head of EnerGenuity is the founder of NOMSCo, David Upchurch. His 18 year energy industry career brings a unique perspective having experience from both sides of the end-user energy transaction. He was the developer of the initial version of the product. Jeff Gilbert, President of SEP, serves as an active partner in the venture. He is co-founder of SEP and has also been actively involved in the management of other startups that have been funded in part by SEP; Vigilance Medical Technologies and Theron, Inc. He has experience in information technology, sales and marketing, and operations. Additionally, SEP technical and other management personnel have been involved with EnerGenuity from initial formation and are expected to remain active contributors through the technical development and start-up phases of the company. EnerGenuity anticipates the introduction of a new top-level executive team to lead the company once it enters its high-growth stage. We are already aware of several candidates.

  • Product/Service Offerings

      EnerGenuity's suite of software products help energy marketing companies become more profitable by allowing them to efficiently manage the complex real-time world of energy trading and retail deal structuring. EnerGenuity is in a unique position because we have already developed a software system designed specifically for the nuances of end-user energy marketing. The first release of the software was developed over a four-year period for an industry leading energy marketer and remains in use today. We believe it is the only system design specifically to handle the complexities associated with the needs of our target market, end-user energy marketing companies. Our real-life experience illustrates how an energy marketing company can scale exponentially on only one-third of their pre-install staff.
