Vigilance Medical Technologies, Inc. (Vigilance) is a subsidary of SEP, Inc. and was was formed in 1999. Vigilance pursues product development and system integration opportunities in the area of medical devices and information systems. Vigilance is working diligently to safely integrate information technology with medial applications.  This includes work in the following areas: adverse drug interaction detection systems, connectivity solutions, patient-centric information systems, and point-of-care solutions.

One goal of Vigilance is to develop industry-wide standards for system interfaces. This will allow medical equipment to be able to interface with other equipment and also with the computer network. These standards will provide quicker and easier access to vital information about patients, and help to ensure a higher quality of healthcare.

Vigilance is also committed to the local health care industry. Many of the new and innovative ideas in the medical field originate in Indiana, but are manufactured elsewhere. Vigilance is encouraging this work to be done right here in Indiana.
