PROBLEM:
Aerospace client needed a Service Data Management (SDM) system to provide secure, internet accessible system for tracking engine and part information (configuration, life usage, locations, owners, etc.) and service information (removals, inspections, performance data, etc.)

SEP SOLUTION:
SEP was able to provide a SDM system in a collaborative environment for client personnel, field support reps, vendors and customers to interact and exchange service, technical, repair, cost and field data. SEP developed a prototype to support requirements gathering activities, automated testing using continuous integration, NUnit and TestComplete and securely handled export-controlled data.

As a result of SEP’s success with this project, SEP is implementing systems such as this for several engine programs. These systems are important because they provide an excellent understanding of the “big picture” of engine maintenance. These systems are under development through a commercial contract to a customer.
