Director of Marketing and Public Relations
Kelly Wilson joined SEP in 2007 to focus the company’s marketing and public relations efforts and to lead event management operations.
Wilson graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and later received a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management. She spent the first six years of her career in the financial services industry as a Communications Manager and Marketing Director, working with financial planners nationwide to help grow and promote their businesses.
As SEP’s Director of Marketing and Public Relations, she’s responsible for managing all of the company’s events and community relations efforts to build upon SEP’s outstanding reputation and create awareness for the traditionally ‘under the radar’ company. Wilson works with SEP’s management team on educational marketing endeavors, promoting the company’s expertise in software development methodology. Since 2009, she has helped organize Lean and Agile industry conferences across the US, receiving a Community Contribution Award from the Lean Software Systems Consortium in 2012.Wilson has been involved with the Susan G. Komen Foundation since 2001 and works closely with the Ball State Alumni Association. She and her husband Jim, along with their 2 children, reside in Fishers.
